The Rotary Club of York-North is a family of approximately 40 active, engaged men and women united by one common purpose—a heart for service. Every project we undertake reflects our commitment to improving lives, strengthening our community, and making a positive difference throughout the world.

 

Rotary International President Olayinka Hakeem Babalola has challenged Rotarians everywhere to Create Lasting Impact. His message reminds us that by working together, we can build on the relationships we've formed and take meaningful action that creates sustainable change—locally, globally, and personally.

 

At York-North, that message comes to life every day.  We partner with organizations such as Servants' Northeast Workcamp to help repair homes for neighbors who are unable to complete the work themselves. Throughout the year, our members volunteer and support organizations including the Margaret E. Moul Home, LifePath Ministries, the York County Youth Development Center, our Adopt-A-Highway program, and local literacy initiatives that encourage children to discover the joy of reading.

 

Investing in young people is one of Rotary's greatest priorities. We proudly sponsor students to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), recognize outstanding Students of the Month, and support literacy programs in three local school districts. Our club has also maintained a long tradition of participating in Rotary International's Youth Exchange Program, giving local students the opportunity to experience other cultures while welcoming international students into our community. These experiences build lifelong friendships and promote peace and understanding around the world.

During the 2026-2027 Rotary year, let us discover what makes York-North such a special organization. Whether through hands-on service, fellowship, professional networking, or supporting causes that strengthen our community, there is a place for everyone to make a difference.
